The Quality Control Program at Triangle Parachute is certified and managed under MIL-Q-9858. (Work is underway to become ISO-9000 compliant.) A "traveler system" provides complete traceability of materials and operators throughout the entire fabrication process. Specialized quality control equipment includes a high capacity, tensile test machine and a Frazier Permeameter. Conventional quality control equipment includes light tables, calibrated force balances, and conventional measuring tools. This program is tailored to compliment the corporate emphasis on product integrity, reliability, and user safety. The Configuration Management System, complying with MIL-STD- 973 insures adherence to all aspects of customer requirements and is utilized to maintain control of the Baseline Technical Documentation Package and all changes to this baseline throughout the contract production. The data base that is maintained provides complete status accounting reports as required as well as "As-Built" configuration reports.
