Triangle Parachute is situated in Roxboro, North Carolina -- the
"Parachute Capital of the World." This geographic location allows
ready access to the textile industry for acquisition of the many
specialized materials required in the manufacture of modern retardation
systems. A labor force of trained operators is readily available
to support large production contracts. Triangle Parachute's experienced
managers, under programs supported by Piedmont Technical College,
have trained many of these operators.
Triangle Parachute has a plant capacity of 10,000 square feet
of manufacturing area encompassing a minimum of 70 sewing centers.
The entire fabrication and quality assurance area is temperature
controlled throughout the entire year.
Over 90 sewing machines of 25 different types are available to
meet specified sewing requirements. Additionally, there is specialized
suspension line tensioning and marking equipment, a printing press
for required product identification marking, and a full capability
for accurate pattern development, fabric layout, and fabric cutting.
